Volunteer Services - Extraordinary Service Ambassadors

Huguley Volunteer Auxiliary sponsors uniform and book sales, bake sales, lobby coffee and juice bar, popcorn cart, and other fundraisers to contribute to scholarships and other needs such as the trailer (pictured right) to further the hospital's mission.

What would I be doing?

You have a wide variety of departments to choose – from 50 to be exact! You can decide to work in a family service role, guest relations, patient care, or clerical. We can match your needs with those of our patients and guests. Click here for an area of interest where you could serve.

Do you have a Junior Volunteer ESA Program?

During the summer months we have a structured teen volunteer program which lasts 6-8 weeks. It is open to teens from 14 years of age to high school seniors. Teens are encouraged to work at least one -- four hour shift per week on a scheduled basis. They must complete an application, obtain a skin test to see if they have been exposed to Tuberculosis, and attend a mandatory orientation program. Uniform consists of a Huguley Polo shirt purchased here, khaki pants and athletic shoes. Junior Volunteers work in patient areas and offices. The volunteer office tracks the number of hours worked so you can have a record for school. Based upon availability of opportunities there is a limited need for teens during the school year.
