Dr. Shah, Radiologist, Joins Huguley

After growing up in Tarrant County, radiologist Nadia Shah, M.D., has returned to the area to join Huguley Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Shah has special expertise and training in breast imaging, and her practice at Huguley will focus on reading and interpreting mammograms and other breast imaging. Dr. Shah also has nine years’ experience in general diagnostic radiology and will practice some general radiology.
Before joining Huguley, Dr. Shah completed a fellowship in breast imaging at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She has practiced radiology and been a clinical instructor in radiology in Galveston, Temple, Austin and Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Shah has also completed a fellowship in body imaging at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. She did a residency in diagnostic radiology at the State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York after fulfilling her internship requirements at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York.
Dr. Shah earned a doctor of medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Board-certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Shah is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiologic Association of North America and the Society of Breast Imaging.
Huguley Imaging Center, which opened in 2006, offers digital mammography, CT scans, ultrasounds, diagnostic X-rays and bone density scans. Digital technology provides sharper images in less time, with less exposure to radiation, than traditional imaging.
