Crystal Heart Gala Stars Legendary Singer

Proceeds from the festive event will provide cancer screenings and services for uninsured and financially challenged patients.

In the late 1980s, Randy Travis first opened the floodgates for the New Traditionalist movement in country music. One of the most successful artists in the music industry, he has sold more than 25 million country, bluegrass and gospel records, has six number-one albums, has 22 number-one hits, and dozens of music awards.  His multiple television and movie roles earned him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This evening with Randy Travis begins with a large silent auction and a four-course gourmet dinner, followed by the legendary singer’s performance.

“It’s devastating to hear the word ‘cancer,’ which affects almost every family at some point.  For many cancers, the key to survival is early detection and early treatment.  Funds raised will broaden our reach to the uninsured and financially challenged of our community so that they are equipped to win the battle against cancer,” said Ken Finch, president and CEO of Huguley Memorial Medical Center.

Table sponsorships range from $3,000 to $25,000 and individual seats for $300 are available for the fundraising gala.  For more information, call 817-568-3281.
