Lisa Herrin, M.D. has opened a pediatric practice at Huguley. A board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Herrin provides infants through teenagers with preventative and well-child care, diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and management of chronic conditions, such as ADD and asthma.
Dr. Herrin has almost twenty years’ experience as a pediatrician, including seventeen years locally. For the last eight years, she has worked in a community clinic and urgent care center with Cook Children’s Physician Network.
“In addition to my pediatric training, I can share with patients and their parents my real world experiences of raising five children, ranging in age from toddlers to teens. I’ve probably faced many of their same concerns and problems,” said Dr. Herrin.
Dr. Herrin completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas after earning her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and biology from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.
In addition to her office practice, Dr. Herrin will provide newborn care and hospital inpatient care for children at Huguley Memorial Medical Center. Her office is located in Suite 204 of the Huguley medical office buildings and can be reached at 817-293-0995. She welcomes most insurance plans, including Medicaid.
