About Us

Huguley Memorial Medical Center opened in 1977 with the mission to further the healing ministry of Christ.

As a member of Adventist Health System, Huguley is operated in a tradition of healthcare that recognizes that total health is achieved through the proper balance of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being.

Huguley Memorial Medical Center, located on I-35W in south Fort Worth, includes a 213-bed acute care hospital, two intensive care units, progressive care unit, open heart surgery center, behavioral health center and emergency department available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  More than 350 primary care and specialty physicians provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The Mobile Health Services Bus provides complete examinations and other health-care services throughout Tarrant and Johnson counties.

Huguley's 16-bed intensive care unit for patients with medical care and respiratory needs and the 12-bed intensive care unit concentrating on cardiovascular patients are staffed by intensively trained critical care nurses.  A 4-bed dialysis center is available for renal patients with critical needs.

The 33-bed Progressive Care Unit is designed to bridge the gap between the Intensive Care Unit and the medical-surgical units.  When patients are ready to be moved out of the ICU, but still need frequent monitoring or acute medical treatment, the Progressive Care Unit will provide the level of care they need.  The Progressive Care Unit is staffed by Advanced Cardiac Life Support-certified registered nurses and other highly trained personnel.
